Dragon’s Den – Memory Foam Mattress
Dragon's Den is a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) production of Sony's original concept which consists of entrepreneurs pitching their ideas in order to secure investment finance from business experts — the "Dragons". The show is inspiring, very entertaining and considering the economic climate we're facing, provides a wonderful venue to encourage VC funding and get the moneys flowing again. @BabeonToast I’m pretty sure the show is about making money.
@BabeonToast Of course not, but that’s the way he is. And he knows it, that’s important
@pomegranateish Maybe you should STFU….
@mutzilnosoundl Money is not what it’s all about, honey, any real man can tell you that.
@MightyDawq i agree, Brett is mad cool: *touches mattress nonchalantly* — “I’ll give you an address to ship that one to”
why is it that every time 1 dragon quits everybody else quits with him?
brett wilson is the best
@mobins these are canadian. the UK dragons’ den is awful. dragons’ den canada and the american shark tank are WAY more entertaining
the american dragons r very inpatient as opposed to the uk ones
Wth, who says Kevin is an asshole? He’s just rich and he knows it! He’s only thinking money, which this show is all about and he’s thinking the best way to make money. If the risk is too high, which in retail business it usually is, he’s out. I think it’s wrong to say he’s an asshole because with that amount of brains, experience and money you all should just shut up. He’s harsh I know that, but isn’t business all about being harsh?
Brett has good business acumen.
@JinNOSify nah, you’re wrong. kevin is the only asshole here. robert is actually a very smart yet kind businessman
Canadian Dragon’s Den? Weeeird..
Bret Wilson is the man. Very fair.
@aaronthemoose94 They had no problem with him *being* in retail stores; their issue was the massive costs and lack of profitability of *owning* retail locations. Once you do that, you have to pay for leases/rents, employees, point of sale technology and a lot of other things that would drive down profitability.
I bought a bed from him last year from his store in Montreal. Great bed, great price. The Dragons were wrong.
with sales like he’s broadcasting, why not go into retail with him? He’s making sales without retail at all, and giving a product to the consumer that is better WITH the ability to test it in store is an incredible thing. These dragons with the exception of Brett were not very smart here. Also considering Essentia is now well known.
@JinNOSify you re right! brett is the only one with a real ”heart”
i like brett!
@watermelonygoodness they r canadiannnnnnnnnnnnnn mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
@watermelonygoodness ☞ That’s nice, but I don’t care.
@2472769 Dragons Den came before Shark Tank.
there all cheap idiots in most eps i watch…
@87Canuck19☞ Typical YES, I agree but at least we’re more well known for our shows internationally. Whether we copy it or not.
@2472769
Shark Tank is a copy of Dragons Den (CBC and BBC)….
Same premise…but destroyed by typical crappy American production.
